Michael Witkes (he/him) is an NYC-based multi-hyphenate; actor, writer, director, producer and Drag Queen (Pink Pancake). He is most known for his work creating, producing, and starring in the award winning series, Interested In. Seasons 1 and 2 were official selections at 12 film festivals, including Frameline. Season 2 was a recipient of a 2022 NYC Women’s Fund Grant (Dir. Erica Rose) and was nominated for a Queerties Award.  It's been featured in HuffPost, Queerty, NewNowNext, and Gayety, among others. Michael's short film, Boys Will, was a semifinalist in Diverse Voices, WeScreenplay, and Big Apple Film Festivals. As a Drag Queen, Michael performs all over the city as "Pink Pancake;" most notably with their Glam Award nominated One Woman Show "Today You Are A Man!" As an actor, Michael has worked both regionally and off Broadway at Playwrights Horizons, Walnut Street Theatre, The Hangar Theatre, and more. SDCF Observer to Joe Calarco.
